In debates between energy and the environment, nuance is too often lost.

My son, Mackenzie, and his wife, Jamie, live on a property in North Central Alberta. Mackenzie works in the patch and has recently begun an alternative career as a tree faller. He and Jamie meet most of their energy needs through a wood burning heater, natural gas, solar panels, raising sheep, and growing their own produce.
