Experiment with prose poetry. About Hell.

People wonder where is hell and what is hell and others answer, hell is here. It’s here on earth, and it’s pain. People are in pain and it’s hell. People are in hell. And people are out of hell. Some leave, some enter, some remain. There are three ways, three ways out of hell. First. There are those who study hell. They read books and they sit in classrooms and become experts on the theology of hell. They see a person is in hell and say, I can see you are in hell. I can tell you what I know about hell, and I can tell you how to get out of hell. I can give you tools. I can give you maps. If you do as I say, you can get out of hell. You have to do as I say. Second. There are people who were in hell and they got out of hell. And they say, I can see you are in hell. I’ve been to hell. I know all about hell. I can tell you how to get out. I can draw you a map. If you do as I say, I can get you out of hell. You have to do as I say. Third. There are people who say, hello. Welcome to hell. I see you are lost. I know where the door is, I’ll walk you there. And you just have to walk out. And the one walking out says, aren’t you coming? No, no I’m staying here. There’s a guy back there, I saw a guy. He’s lost. I’m going to walk with him for a while. Sometimes. Sometimes one who remains in hell comes out for a little while. Knows where the door is and comes out. Out the door and back in. That same door. People ask, don’t you want to stay out of hell? Do you want to die in hell? The one who remains says, I might. I might die here. And then I’ll walk out the door forever.
